What made you start blogging?
I wanted to have a collective record of all my knitting projects, and have the ability to meet like-minded people.

Why knitrider.blogspot.com weblog?
Well I knit, and I ride bikes (used to ride motorcycles too!) so it just seemed to make sense.

What's your favorite subject to blog on?
Knitting of course, but also I love to share photos of Colorado's scenery for all those poor souls who don't live here.

What's your favorite post you've ever written?
Probably this one http://knitrider.blogspot.com/2006/09/lacy-leaf-pullover-finalized.html since it highlights the completion of my favorite sweater.

What do you do when you're not blogging?
Knitting, hiking, biking, planting things, cooking things, playing with my dog, drawing, listening to music, hanging out with friends, etc.

Favorite Colorado Blog?
That would have to be Out There, gazetteoutthere.blogspot.com. Its great because it highlights happenings in my area that pertain to the outdoors. Great trail maps too.

Any blog writing suggestions for new bloggers?
Just be yourself! People really sweat not getting comments, but believe me, people are reading.

What are your favorite things about Colorado Springs?
It is great because you have easy access to the outdoors. You can bike from your home and be on a great trail in a matter of minutes.

Favorite place to visit in Colorado?
I love going to Buena Vista. If I could live there, I would. The general atmosphere of the town is so nice and mellow. They've got great trails too, and hot springs!

Favorite Colorado sports team?
The Rockies!

Opinion on the local newspapers?
The Gazette is surprisingly good for what I consider a small town paper.
