Completely redesigned for 2008 with increased dimensions for a more spacious interior, the sedan styling theme expresses a powerful presence with sharp and strong character lines. The coupe is further individualized with an aggressive stance and unique proportions that create a muscular, sporty demeanor, while introducing a new generation of fuel-saving Variable Cylinder Management technology and achieving a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV1) rating. The VCM system operates in 6-cylinder mode for power and 4- and 3-cylinder modes for efficiency, resulting in an EPA city/highway fuel economy rating of 19/29 miles per gallon (Accord Sedan V-6).

S2000 CR
Honda's high-performance S2000 two-seat roadster has gone almost 10 years without a complete redesign, though there were some engine and aesthetic changes for 2004. For 2008, Honda has spiced things up with a new track-ready package called the S2000 CR; CR stands for “club racer.” Less spicy are the changes to the regular S2000, which include a new wheel design, suspension tweaks and an altered gauge layout.

Honda's rear-wheel-drive sports car packs a high-revving 4-cylinder. As a result, the S2000 feels more like a racecar than a typical sports car. The S2000 CR will enhance that feeling, as it comes with a specially tuned suspension, added chassis bracing and a removable hardtop to increase chassis rigidity.
FCX Clarity
Automakers are so excited about hydrogen-powered cars that they're building real working production models to put into consumers hands. That's Honda's plan with the FCX Clarity. Yes, it's powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, which powers electric motors to propel the car. The FCX will be crash-tested and meet all federal regulations before it hits the streets. It will also get a window sticker that shows EPA adjusted mileage figures, which Honda says will be 68 mpg.
The 100 folks who are lucky enough to get on a waiting list and receive an FCX will have to pay a $600 a month lease fee for three years and live near a hybrid fueling station, like the ones in Santa Monica, Torrance and Irvine, Calif. We're still years away from the FCX hitting showrooms nationwide, but it might well be the face of the future.
